Jill is a MMS veteran and has grown with us over the years. She started out with the MMS in June 2006 as the Statement of Claim Coordinator, moved on to be the Research Assistant, and then the Accounting Assistant. Jill is currently the Accounting Administrator here at the MMS.

Jill is proud to be a Listuguj Mi’gmaq who lives off the land with her husband. She is hoping to lead by example and encourage others to connect with our land and do the same.

One of Jill’s superpowers is being organized and building accountability. She describes herself as: accountable, punctual, responsible, embracing new challenges, and being active!

Jill is fiercely loyal and loves her family wholeheartedly. One of her top priorities is to spend a lot of quality time with them, including her husband, her son and his girlfriend, and her daughter and her family, including two beautiful grandbabies, and her sister and her children.

Jill’s interests are varied. She loves everything from hunting and fishing, doing beadwork, and exercising.

  3. Bucket list activity … always changing; she loves adding new skills to her repertoire and taking on new challenges.
  4. Current challenge … training to become a volunteer firefighter!
